DuraTech Factory-Built Chimney System

The DuraVent DuraTech Factory-Built Chimney System is a high-performance, all-fuel venting solution engineered for safety, reliability, and ease of installation. Featuring a double-wall design with a 1" Thermal Tech ceramic insulation blanket, DuraTech maintains high flue gas temperatures for optimal draft while keeping the outer wall cool to the touch. Its inner wall is 25% thicker than many competing systems, providing added safety under high-heat conditions. The lightweight, twist-lock construction eliminates the need for locking bands or mechanical fasteners, while the sleek profile fits easily between 16" on-center framing. For tighter installs, a Reduced Clearance Square Ceiling Support Box is available (6" only).

DuraTech is available in 5" to 24" diameters, making it suitable for everything from wood stoves and fireplaces to boilers and high-capacity appliances. Models 5"–8" feature a .020" stainless steel inner wall and outer options in stainless or galvalume, while large-diameter DuraTech LDC (10"–24") includes .027" stainless inner and outer wall options with a solid-pack insulation layer. The system is UL 103HT listed (U.S.) and ULC S604 listed (Canada), supporting continuous operation at 1000°F and chimney fire testing up to 2100°F. Compatible with select factory-built fireplaces, DuraTech delivers professional-grade performance and code compliance for residential and commercial installations alike.
